Costello Memorial Chapel This RC chapel is the smallest in Ireland and reputedly the second smallest in the world. Edward Costello built it out of deep love for his wife Mary Josephine who died in 1877. Today both Edward and his wife's remains are within in the chapel. The chapel is located in the very heart of the town of Carrick on Shannon
